Overspringshandlinger

Overspringshandlinger.
Alene ordet får det til at løbe koldt ned af ryggen på mig.
Følelsen af dårlig samvittighed vælder ind over mig. 
Engang lavede jeg mange overspringshandlinger. 
Min dårlige samvittighed over dem, var konstant.
Det at skulle ud af døren var et mareridt, for der var aldrig tid nok.

En dag tænkte jeg, nu kan det være nok.

Jeg omdøbte mine overspringshandlinger.
Vil-gerne-handlinger.
Den dårlige samvittighed forsvandt med mit nye ord!
Vil-gerne-handlingerne begyndte jeg at afsætte tid til. 
Idag når jeg alt muligt, jeg gerne vil, inden jeg forlader mit hjem. 
Hver gang jeg lukker døren bag mig, glædes jeg over alt det jeg igen fik gjort.

Procrastination

Procrastinate.
This word alone makes me feel bad.
Immediately I feel guilt.
Earlier in my life I did procrastinate a lot.
Constantly I felt bad about all these substitute activities.
Leaving my flat was a nightmare, because there was never enough time.

Enough Now – I said to myself one day.

One day I realised that it would have to stop.
I renamed all these procrastinations.
Will-like-to-do-activities.
The feeling of guilt disappeared with this renaming.
I started to devote time to my I-will-like-to-do-activities.
Today I do all kinds of I-will-like-to-do-activities before leaving my home.
Every time I close the door behind me, I am delighted about what I accomplished.
I love my I-will-like-to-do-activities.
